Dog Training Services at Muttropolis

What do puppies need? Our 6-week puppy training classes begin with the fundamentals, such as name recognition, basic commands, and techniques to avoid developing bad habits. Through these behavior training sessions, you will strengthen your bond with your new friend. This course requires a commitment of 3-4 hours a week for homework, and it includes one on one dog training to ensure personalized attention. *Puppies must be up to date on all shots.

Intermediate classes and socialization

Where do I go from here? This 6-week course focuses on teaching self-control through behavior training sessions. Dogs learn important skills such as wait, leave it, stay, and settle. These skills are essential for keeping you and your dog safe in any environment. We also reinforce loose leash walking and hand signals during our one on one dog training sessions. 

This class is open to dogs over 6 months of age with current vaccinations and is a great follow-up after puppy training classes.

*Classes are conducted in a fenced outdoor environment with minimal distractions.

This 8-week course focuses on advanced training and skills, designed to enhance communication between students and their dogs through effective behavior training sessions. Dogs will learn key commands such as heel, retrieve, and go to place. Students can also choose to work on one special skill, such as sit pretty or roll over. Classes take place in a secure outdoor environment, and one-on-one dog training sessions are offered to reinforce skills in a real-world setting. Additionally, one-on-one walks with the client, trainer, and dog help solidify their training.
